Ms. Jennifer Peloquin started with the district in 2000 and currently serves as the Principal of Palos West Elementary. Prior to her administrative duties, Ms. Peloquin was Assistant Principal for 3 years and taught various grade levels for ten years, with several of those years being at Palos West. In addition, Jennifer was a Supervisor of Clinical Experiences working with student teachers through University of Illinois as well as a presenter with Summit Professional Education. Ms. Peloquin has grown as an educator in District 118 and is dedicated to the students, staff, and community.

Jennifer received a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from Eastern Illinois University, a Master’s Degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Indiana Wesleyan University, and a Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership from the University of St. Francis.

Jennifer is proud to work at Palos West Elementary. She strives to focus on the “whole child” providing support to students, staff, and parents to ensure both a successful academic and social-emotional experience. She works collaboratively with her colleagues in a PLC model to ensure students have a safe learning environment, a rigorous curriculum, differentiated instruction, and an overall positive experience at Palos West. Under her leadership, Palos West was named a Blue Ribbon School by the U.S. Department of Education in 2022.

Kristie Tieri earned her Bachelor’s Degree from Lewis University.  She earned her first Master’s Degree in Administration and her second Master’s Degree in Special Education, both from the University of St. Francis.  She also holds the Director of Special Education Endorsement from the state of Illinois.

Kristie has been an educator for 26 years.  She has taught various grade levels in the states of Florida and Illinois.  Kristie began in District 118 as a teacher at Palos East in 2007 where she taught general education students for 9 years and special education students for 7 years.  

Mrs. Tieri is proud and excited to be a part of the Palos District 118 administrative team.  She will continue her work in the district to create a successful learning environment for all students while collaborating with colleagues across the grade levels.  She strongly believes that all children can succeed and will work hard to promote a strong connection with parents and the community.  Kristie lives in the western suburbs of Chicago with her husband and daughter and enjoys gardening, cooking, and traveling.
